FAQs

What if I can only come for part of the trip?

With the time, money, and coordination involved in planning a destination wedding for 26 of our closest friends and family, we ask that guests who RSVP yes attend from Saturday until Wednesday. We hope you all understand that we want to ensure the most efficient utilization of the space.

Will there be house/room assignments?

Yes, we will post accommodation assignments to the website upon receipt of all RSVPs.

When do I need to RSVP by?

We ask that all guests RSVP with a definitive yes or no within one month of receipt of the invitation (approximately August 10, 2024).

Is the entirety of the trip planned/structured?

The morning and afternoon on Monday and Tuesday are unstructured time to enjoy Kaua’i. There will be casual events, gatherings, and meals during these times that are optional.

Required events are the Boat Trip (Sunday AM), the Welcome Luau (Sunday PM), the Wedding (Monday), and the Farewell Dinner (Tuesday).

Please see The Itinerary for more information.

Do you have a gift registry?

No. In lieu of gifts, we are asking each guest to contribute $250 to charter a private boat for a tour along the Na Pali Coast on Sunday, March 23, 2025.

What are your travel plans for this trip?

Michael and Jennie will be flying to Lihue a few days early to ensure all plans are in place for the wedding. After the wedding, we will be enjoying our Honeymoon on the Hawaiian islands.
