What if I can only come for part of the trip?

With the time, money, and coordination involved in planning a destination wedding for a group of our closest friends and family, we ask that guests who RSVP yes attend from Saturday until Tuesday or Wednesday. We hope you all understand that we want to ensure the most efficient utilization of the space.

Will there be house/room assignments?

Yes. You will receive the assignments upon arrival at the property on March 22, 2025.

What amenities are included in the stay?

Each house is equipped with the following amenities:

  • Essentials: Soap, toilet paper, towels, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, a hair dryer, washer, dryer, an iron, beach towels

  • Kitchen: Alcoholic and non-alcohol beverages, snacks, coffee & coffee maker, refrigerator, freezer, microwave, stove, oven, cooking basics, dishes, silverware

Is the entirety of the trip planned/structured?

Monday morning (leading up to the wedding ceremony) and all day Tuesday are reserved as unstructured time for guests to enjoy Kaua’i. On Tuesday, we invite you to join us for an optional casual beach day followed by optional dinner and drinks at the Kauai Island Brewing.

What does “beach cocktail attire” mean?

For the rehearsal dinner, “beach cocktail attire” blends cocktail wear with lightweight, breathable fabrics suitable for a seaside setting. For women, this can include jumpsuits and sun dresses. For men this can include pants, shorts, and short sleeve button-down shirts.

What does “beach formal attire” mean?

For the wedding, “beach formal attire” blends evening wear with lightweight, breathable fabrics suitable for a seaside setting. For women, this can include dresses, jumpsuits, and two-piece sets. For men, this can include trousers, linen pants, long-sleeve button-down shirt, blazer, sport coat, suit, and tux.

Do you have a gift registry?

No. In lieu of gifts, we are asking each guest to contribute $250 to charter a private boat for a tour along the Na Pali Coast on Sunday, March 23, 2025, for those that are attending.

What are your travel plans for this trip?

Michael and Jennie will be flying to Lihue on Wednesday March 19th and will be flying home to Denver on Wednesday March 26.
